For over 25 years, quilting has been a special part of my life. What started as a creative hobby eventually grew into a passion for helping others preserve memories through custom quilts, T-shirt quilts, and personalized sewing projects.

 

My husband, Don, and I live in Belleville, Illinois, and together we enjoy the simple things in life—camping trips, traveling, spending time outdoors, and making memories with our family. Whether we’re exploring somewhere new or relaxing around a campfire, family time means everything to us. At home, our two dogs, Jazmine and Willow, keep life entertaining and are definitely part of the family too.

 

Those moments and memories are a big part of why I love quilting so much.

 

Some of my favorite projects are memory quilts made from clothing, fabrics, or meaningful pieces that hold sentimental value. I love knowing that a quilt can become more than just something beautiful—it can tell a story, honor a loved one, celebrate a special pet, or capture moments that deserve to be remembered for years to come.

 

One of the things I enjoy most is seeing each customer’s vision come together. Every quilt is unique, from the colors and fabrics chosen to the memories stitched into every piece. No two projects are ever alike, and that’s what makes this work so rewarding.

 

I use a computerized Gammill quilting machine, and Don often helps behind the scenes as we work together to bring each quilt to life with care and attention to detail.
